I picked up Flash 10-12 (Johns), the first two issues of Flashpoint, Booster Gold 45, and the seven lead in issues for the first series of miniseries. I snagged them along with a package of Zero Hour and all the #0's (I don't have the tie-ins... yet). After chatting with Jim at Acme Comics in Normal, IL, I'm going to lean towards a Flashpoint book with some modeling and framework borrowed from reactions to what happened during/ post original Crisis (on Infinite Earths) and Zero Hour. These, as far as we know beyond the Silver Age renumberings, are the only times we have DC reboots in the universe. Blackest Night/ Brightest Day, Identity/ Infinite/ Final Crisis, all of the other crossovers had reveals or broad effects on the universe, but here we finally have DC starting over once and for all.
The point of this blog is a place to catalog reactions, store internet based research, or jot down ideas for my masters thesis on Flashpoint. Any help provided on this blog is, of course, welcome.
